How to use for PS3

Preparation
  • Make sure your external USB Hard Disk Drive (HDD from now on) is formatted with the FAT32 filesystem. This is the only filesystem the PS3 supports for external drives.
  • Now make a folder called Video in the root of the drive. This is the folder the PS3 will look for video content by default. You should put the output of DVD2one to this folder.

    Processing
  • Select movie-only or join mode from the main screen.
  • Now select the folder on the HDD in your computer where you stored the rip of your original DVD.
  • Make sure the Target is set to 'PS3 USB HDD' on the Settings tab.
  • Now click the Start Processing button and select the Video folder on your external USB HDD as destination folder.
  • After processing is finished connect your USB HDD to your PS3 and enjoy your movie!

    Changing options
  • DVD2one will automatically select the main feature, but you can change it to any of the other titles available on your DVD.
  • By default the main original language track is selected, but you can change it to the audio track you want.

Limitations of video playback on the PS3
  • The PS3 does not let you switch audio tracks, so only select one audio track.
  • The PS3 will not play DTS tracks from the XMB, make sure you select a Dolby Digital (AC3) track.
  • The PS3 will not show subtitles in video files started from the XMB.
